Steven Tyler to Marry for a Third Time

The jewelry designer that Steven Tyler hired to create the diamond engagement ring for his girlfriend Erin Brady has congratulated the couple on its impending nuptials.

They’ve been dating since 2006, but it wasn’t until Erin was spotted wearing the new sparkler on her wedding finger during a Christmas 2011 vacation in Hawaii that wedding rumors started.

And now celebrity jeweller Loree Rodkin has confirmed her client’s wedding plans, and revealed the details behind the gem.

She told UsMagazine.com that the one-of-a-kind piece features a five-carat brilliant cut stone set on a micro pave diamond and platinum band.

She says, “Having made Steven’s jewelry for so many of the past years, it was an honor to be part of his future… with all my love to Steven and Erin.”

Tyler was previously married to Cyrinda Foxe from 1978 to 1987. He divorced Teresa Barrick shortly before meeting Brady.

The couple made the big news official when they appeared together for a rare interview on Oprah Winfrey’s new show, Oprah’s Next Chapter, which debuted in America on 1 January (12).

In the interview, Tyler admitted he was “ashamed” of his womanizing past and would not cheat on his new wife.

The ring that he chose as an engagement gift to his girlfriend of five years was made by the jeweller Loree Rodkin.

According to People, a spokesperson for the jeweller said that Tyler has been one of Rodkin’s clients for some time and that the ring was ‘totally unique’, Contactmusic reported.

When they arrived back from vacation earlier this week, Brady was spotted wearing the ring, which is a 5-carat diamond, sitting on a micro pave diamond-and-platinum band.

This will not be the first wedding for the 63-year-old Aerosmith singer.

Between 1978 and 1987, he was married to Cyrinda Foxe (one of Andy Warhol’s models) and his last marriage, to the clothes designer Teresa Barrick, ended in 2006 – the same year that he started dating Brady.
