Heat Vs. Timberwolves: Dwyane Wade's Late Bucket Seals 103-101 Victory For Miami

A Dwyane Wade bucket with :04 left in regulation was the difference for the Miami Heat as they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-101 on Friday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis to improve their record to 4-0 on the season.

Wade's score came on an assist from teammate LeBron James, who paced Miami's offense with 34 points and 10 assists to go with eight rebounds. Forward Chris Bosh had 20 points and nine rebounds while Wade finished with 19 points and five assists on 8-19 shooting. Norris Cole edged into double figures with 12 points.

Kevin Love was a force for the Timberwolves, scoring 25 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Point guard Ricky Rubio finished with a double-double of 12 points and 12 assists as well to go with his six rebounds.

Minnesota was 11-29 from behind the 3-point arc compared to Miami's 3-14 mark. The deep ball kept the Timberwolves in the game, but in the end, Miami capitalized on 25 Minnesota turnovers to take 10 more shots and hit seven more field goals than the Timberwolves.

Miami returns to action on New Year's Day, when the Charlotte Bobcats travel the South Florida. The Heat topped the Bobcats 96-95 on Wednesday.
